The Recovery Chronicles: Matthew

In 2019, I reached a turning point in my life. After years of struggling, I finally found the peace I had been searching for. It wasn’t an easy journey, but the rewards have been immeasurable. This peace brought clarity, strength, and a renewed sense of purpose.

A significant part of this journey has been my bond with Pascal, my dog, and my best friend. Pascal has been with me through thick and thin, offering unconditional love and companionship. His presence has been a constant source of comfort and joy, helping me stay grounded and reminding me of the simple pleasures in life.

My passion now lies in helping others find their path to recovery. At Live Free Recovery Services, I serve as the Director of Community Outreach, and in the community, I am a CRSW supervisor. In these roles, I have the privilege of supporting others on their recovery journeys, sharing my experiences, and providing the guidance and encouragement they need to find their own peace. Helping others rediscover their strength and potential is not just a job for me; it’s a calling that fills me with immense fulfillment and gratitude.
